Not the most original destinations or kickass modes of transportation for our next culprit. It’s all about the original photo angle in the ‘Follow Me’ travel exploits by Russian photographer Murad Osmann.
In his photo series “Follow Me”, Osmann is taking the viewer on an intimate journey together with his girlfriend who’s leading him around the world. The pose is almost the same in every picture: the girl never shows her face, and the guy almost never lets go of her hand. The settings change from Moscow to London, Venice, Madrid, Istanbul and New York to a number of different and lesser known locations in Russia, revealing their passion for travel.
Osmann started the well-known “Follow me” series back in 2011 during a vacation to Barcelona, and now he is being followed by more than 530K Instagram followers himself. You can become a Follower as well instagram.com/muradosmann
The uniqueness of the series is in the perspective Osmann takes. His girlfriend’s face is majestically pacing forward away from the camera – showcasing her back to the viewer and guiding her photographer through many impressive landscapes and cityscapes.
“For me photography is about capturing things other people might miss. It’s a way to communicate,” says Murad.
Indeed his pictures are a great way of communicating the pair’s world travel exploits, from an original perspective, with the rest of the world.
