Traveling inherently means moving around. Discovering and MOVING to new places and finding new ‘friends you haven’t met yet’ on the road along the way. EATING new and exotic foods. And LEARNING about new things, cultures and languages.
And once you get the taste of it, your list of ‘places to visit’ grows endlessly long and before you know it you are hooked for life with the travel bug.

Learn eat move

Rick Mereki wanted to capture that travel bug feeling and somehow convinced STA Australia to fund his attempt. His goal, together with his buddies producer Tim White & actor Andrew Lees, was to create three 1 minute videos on the travel themes of MOVING, EATING and LEARNING.  It resulted in a trip of “3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.”

The resulting videos capture the vibe of traveling beautifully and they are sure to get you reaching for your backpack or suitcases soon enough. Once posted on their Vimeo page, they instantly went viral as Entertainment Weekly reports, reaching over 5 million combined views in no time.

Equally kickass inpspirational as the well known ‘Where the hell is Matt? and Casey Neistat’s Make it Count videos.
