The Silk Road is one of the classic travel routes on earth. The Road that derived its name from the lucrative trade in Chinese silk carried out along its length has existed ever since the beginning of the Han dynasty (207 BCE – 220 CE). And ever since that time it has captured the imagination of world travelers. And overlanding that route is one of the world’s coolest road trips full of history and adventure.

Travel videographer Nicolás Bori from Argentina packed up his gear and traveled for 120 days and 18.000 KM following this ancient mesmerizing Silk Road. Full of breathtaking landscapes, welcoming people and old traditions he crossed China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Caspian sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and finishing in Turkey.
He found nomadic tribes, eight thousand plus meter high mountains, one of the world’s greatest deserts, delicious and alien foods and Turkmenistan’s eternal flame….
